Palais des expositions des Pins maritimes

Le Palais des expositions des Pins maritimes est un parc d'exposition situé dans la banlieue Est d'Alger, sur le territoire de la commune de Mohammadia. Administré par la Société algérienne des foires et expositions (Safex) depuis 1967, il s'agit du plus grand parc d'exposition d'Algérie.

1. Historique

La construction du palais des expositions a été lancée en 1967. Elle a été supervisée par le Bureau des projets architecturaux de la ville de Pékin.

1. Pavillons du Parc

Le parc est géré par la Safex, il a une superficie de 478 241 m2, répartie en huit halls d'exposition, le plaçant au premier rang algérien et au premier rang africain des parcs d'exposition. Les pavillons : Central, Saoura, Ahaggar, Casbah, Union, Bahdja, Gourara, Concorde. Les espaces extérieurs de l'unité africaine, allée Principale, Cascade du Pavillon.

Le site est desservi par l'ETUSA par le bus de la ligne 8, ainsi que par le tramway d'Alger aux stations la foire d'Alger et les Pins dans la commune de Mohammadia.

National Polytechnic School (Algeria)

The National Polytechnic School or École Nationale Polytechnique (ENP) is an engineering school founded in 1925. The architectural diversity of the buildings reflects the different extensions and enlargements of the areas of expertise, teachings and research. A common misconception is to call the school the National Polytechnic School of Algiers while its official name is the National Polytechnic School abbreviated in French as ENP. The school was created in 1925 under the name of "Institut industriel d'Algérie", the aim of this establishment was to train senior technicians for large public services and industrial and public works companies. After the Second World War a training of aeronautical technicians in North Africa was created the ENPA, National Professional School of the Air by General Martin whose alumni continue to maintain a historical site and memory. Closed because of the Second World War, the school was reopened under the name École nationale d'ingénieurs d'Algérie. In 1962, the ENP hosted the first meetings of the provisional government of Algeria. After independence, it was transformed into the National Polytechnic School by the ministerial decree of June 25, 1963.

Higher National Agronomic School

Higher National Agronomic School (French: École Nationale Supérieure Agronomique, Acronym: ENSA ) or (Arabic: المدرسة الوطنية العليا للفلاحة) previously known as the National Institute of Agronomic (I.N.A) is the only school that trains Agricultural engineers in Algeria and offers training, research and expertise, based on the specialities of the research teams: Food, Sustainable Agriculture, Biotechnology, Environment and Territories. Students have the opportunity to prepare for an Engineer's degree in Agricultural Sciences (equivalent to a master's degree). ENSA is the oldest higher education institution founded in 1905 which is located in (El Harrach, Algiers). ENSA is officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Algeria (French: Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique). The Higher National Agronomic School (ENSA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as State Engineer's degrees (French: Diplome d'Ingénieur d'État), master's degrees, doctorate degrees.

Djamaa el Djazaïr

The Djamaa el Djazaïr (Arabic: جامع الجزائر), also known as the Great Mosque of Algiers, is a large mosque located in Mohammadia, in the Dar El Beïda District of Algiers, Algeria. Opened in April 2019, it houses the world's tallest minaret that is 265 metres (869 ft) high, and is the third-largest mosque in the world after the Great Mosque of Mecca and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi of Medina in Saudi Arabia. The mosque features a prayer hall (salat) with an area of 22,000 square metres (240,000 sq ft), capable of accommodating 120,000 worshippers. The central nave of this hall is surrounded by colonnades, with the mihrab located to the east, made of white marble. The hall is topped by a dome with a diameter of 50 metres (160 ft), reaching a height of 70 metres (230 ft).
