Tang Hall
Tang Hall is a suburban district of the city of York in North Yorkshire, England. The name is derived from the Anglo Saxon Tang, which means the meeting place of two becks (Osbaldwick and Tang Hall becks join in the nearby St Nicholas Fields Local Nature Reserve, but this portion of the water courses is now culverted), and a Hall that stood on Fourth Avenue until the 1970s. The Hall was latterly used as the Tang Hall pub, and known at that time as the Tang Hall Hotel, until it was demolished and replaced by a purpose-built pub, the Tang Hall, which in turn was demolished in 2007.

Burnholme Community College
Burnholme Community College was a high school on the east side of York, North Yorkshire. It served the suburbs of Heworth, Tang Hall and parts of Osbaldwick. Due to declining enrolment, the college closed in 2014. Most of its pupils were transferred to Archbishop Holgate's School, which is less than 3 mi (4.8 km) away from the former school site. Some pupils also transferred to Huntington School and Joseph Rowntree School with school buses being provided to serve the area of Tang Hall.
Part of the school site is planned to be used for a new care home.

Jorvik Radio is an independent radio station based in the city of York, in North Yorkshire. The studios are located in Burnholme, York. It takes its name from Jorvik, the historical Viking name for York.
The station launched at 07:00 on 4 November 2019; the first song played on air was Shed Seven's 'Disco Down'.

Hull Road Park
Hull Road Park is a 25-acre (10 ha) open-space park in the suburb of Tang Hall, York, in Northern England. The park is bordered on its southern edge by Osbaldwick Beck, which has become a home for the endangered water vole. The City of York Council withdrew support for the park in 2011, and it is maintained and cleaned by a network of volunteers working for several different societies.
