Le cimetière d'York est le principal cimetière de la ville anglaise d'York. Fondé en 1837 il occupe aujourd'hui 97 000 m2 et est géré par The York Cemetery Trust avec l'aide de l'association des amis du cimetière d'York. Founded in 1837, it now encompasses 24 acres (97,000 m2) and is owned and administered by The York Cemetery Trust with support of the Friends of York Cemetery. It is situated on Cemetery Road in the Fishergate area of York. It has approximately 28,000 graves and over 17,000 monuments, six of which are Grade II-listed. The chapel is a Grade II* listed building,
while the gatehouse, gate and railings are Grade II. The cemetery as a whole is a Grade II* listed park and garden. The architect of the buildings and designer of the grounds was James Pigott Pritchett.

Lamel Hill
Lamel Hill is a scheduled monument about 1 mile (1.6 km) south-east of the centre of York, England. It is on the grounds of The Retreat and the northern part of Walmgate Stray, and in some medieval documents it is referred to as Siward's Mill Hill, or Siward's How Mill, in reference to its previous use as the base of a windmill. However it should not be confused with another site known as Siward's Howe which is about 220 yards (200 m) further east.
Lamel Hill is best known for having been the location of a Parliamentary gun-emplacement aimed at Walmgate Bar in the City Walls during the Siege of York in 1644. It was the site of York's first formal archaeological excavation in 1849, when traces of an Anglo-Saxon cemetery were found. Lamel Hill is part of a conservation area which was designated in 1975.

York Barbican
York Barbican is an indoor entertainment venue located in York, England. Named after the nearby barbican attached to Walmgate Bar, the venue hosts a busy calendar of live music, comedy and sports, as well as business events and conferences. It has a 1,500 seating capacity and a 1,900 standing capacity.
York Barbican is the host venue for the second biggest-ranking snooker tournament, the UK Championship, and has done so from 2001 to 2006, and then from 2011 onwards.
The centre is located on the southern end of York city centre, opposite the city walls.
