Avenida Leandro N. Alem
Avenida Leandro N. Alem is one of the principal thoroughfares in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a commercial nerve center of the city's San Nicolás and Retiro districts. It joins Avenida del Libertador and Avenida Paseo Colón, its northern and southern continuation respectively.

Leandro N. Alem–Correo Central (Buenos Aires Underground)
Leandro N. Alem and Correo Central are two stations on the Buenos Aires Underground that serve as a station complex. Leandro N. Alem station is the eastern terminus of Line B, and Correo Central is a station on Line E. The platforms of Line B opened on 1 December 1931 as part of an extension of that line from Carlos Pellegrini, while the platforms of Line E opened on 3 June 2019 as part of an extension of that line from Bolívar to Retiro.
The Corrientes tram stop on the Tranvía del Este, which was located adjacent to the station complex, operated from July 2007 to October 2012, when the line ceased operations due to low ridership.

Libertad Palace
The Libertad Palace, Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Cultural Center (Spanish: Palacio Libertad, Centro Cultural Domingo Faustino Sarmiento) is a cultural centre located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is the largest of Latin America, and the third or fourth largest in the world.
The building was originally opened in 1928 as the Buenos Aires Central Post Office ("Palacio de Correos"), operating until 2002. During successive years, it was refurbished and reopened in 2015 as a cultural center. It was named for a few years after former president of Argentina Néstor Kirchner, who had overseen its conversion. The name is politically polarizing in Argentina, with the country's presidency announcing the name would be changed in March 2024.
Despite this, the name "Palacio Libertad" only applies to the building itself. As of October 10, 2024, the building was renamed "Domingo Faustino Sarmiento".
The nine-floor centre has a concert hall; five other auditoriums for theater and concerts; 18 halls for poetry readings, performance art, and other events; 40 rooms of art and history galleries totaling 15,000 square meters (160,000 sq ft) on six floors; 16 rehearsal rooms; and two rooftop terraces. It is possible to reach the centre with Line B and Line E of the city's underground, at Leandro N. Alem and Correo Central respectively.

Buenos Aires Central Business District
The Buenos Aires Central Business District is the main commercial centre of Buenos Aires, Argentina, though not an official city ward. While the barrios of Puerto Madero and Retiro house important business complexes and modern high-rise architecture, the area traditionally known as Microcentro (Spanish: Microcenter) is located within San Nicolás and Monserrat, roughly coinciding with the area around the historic center of the Plaza de Mayo. The Microcentro has a wide concentration of offices, service companies and banks, and a large circulation of pedestrians on working days. Another name given to this unofficial barrio is La City, which refers more precisely to an even smaller sector within the Microcentro, where almost all the banking headquarters of the country are concentrated.
