Greater Manchester County Record Office
The Greater Manchester County Record Office (GMCRO) is an archive of primary materials relating to the heritage of Greater Manchester, in North West England; it is located in Manchester city centre, in Archives + in Manchester's Central Library. Opened in 1976, the main function of the GMCRO is to store historical records relating to Greater Manchester, and to make them available for members of the public for research. There are 4 miles (6 km) of shelving of records, which date back to 1197.
The Greater Manchester County Record Office is funded by the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities.
Before it moved to its present location the record office was at 56 Marshall Street, New Cross, M4 5FU.

Angel Gardens
Angel Gardens is a 110-metre (361 ft), 35-storey high-rise building of 466 rental apartments on Rochdale Road in Manchester, England. As of December 2025, it is the joint 20th-tallest building in Greater Manchester, alongside Affinity Living Riverview.
It forms part of the 20-acre (8-hectare) NOMA redevelopment. In January 2017, the investor Apache Capital Partners and the developer Moda Living secured £85 million in financing from the German bank Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.
Following the collapse of the main contractor Carillion on 15 January 2018, construction was put on hold; two weeks later, the contract was transferred to Caddick Construction and construction re-commenced.
Angel Gardens was co-designed by architects Fuse Studios and HAUS Collective.
