Old Bedians - Izeria

Old Bedians Sports Centre is a mixed use sports centre located in East Didsbury, being home to Didsbury Old Bedians RUFC rugby club, Bedians AFC football club and Oisins CLG Gaelic Football club. Old Bedians is located south of Manchester, on the north bank of the River Mersey. It is the principal Gaelic games sports facility in Lancashire and is currently the home grounds of Lancashire GAA and CLG Oisín. The ground takes its name from the Football and Rugby clubs based on the same site, founded by former students of St Bede's College, Manchester. Old Bedians RUFC 1st XV compete in Lancashire/Cheshire 2 of the RFU North, while the 2nd XV compete in Division 4 East of the North West Intermediate Rugby Leagues playing fixtures on Saturday afternoon and training every Wednesday evening. As of 2025 the club is coached by dual code head coach Dan Newall and captained by club captain Danny Walder.

Micker Brook

Micker Brook is a tributary of the River Mersey in North West England. Known early in its course as Bollinhurst Brook and Norbury Brook, then Lady Brook, the river runs along the Ladybrook Valley westward and northward through Hazel Grove, Bramhall and Cheadle. It joins the River Mersey not far from the M60 motorway near to Cheadle Village, Stockport.

It is most notable as the home of Sir Edward Watkin, "railway king and cross-channel visionary", and in the late 20th century it was in use as a children's home. Fletcher Moss Botanical Garden

Fletcher Moss Garden is in Didsbury, Manchester, England, between the River Mersey and Stenner Woods. The park is named after Alderman Fletcher Moss, who donated the park to the city of Manchester in 1915. It is part garden and part wildlife habitat, but also offers recreational facilities such as tennis courts, rugby and football pitches, and a family-run café and ice cream parlour.
