Rue Zlatá - Izeria

La rue Zlata (en français, rue Dorée) est une voie de Prague. Située dans la Vieille Ville de Prague, elle relie la place Anenské par la rue Husova à la rue Jilská. Au début de la rue se trouve le monastère Sainte-Anne.

1. Nom et historique

Longtemps la rue n'avait pas de nom, car le nom « Zlatá » était déjà donné à une rue voisine (l'actuelle rue Náprstkova) car il y avait des orfèvres et des bijoutiers au XIVe siècle. Le nom « Zlata » (doré) a été donné en 1905, lorsque la rue « Zlatá » d'origine a été renommée « Náprstkov » en l'honneur du patriote tchèque et saint patron Vojtěch Náprstka.

Bethlehem Chapel

The Bethlehem Chapel (Czech: Betlémská kaple) is a medieval religious building in the Old Town of Prague, Czech Republic. It is notable for its connection with the origins of the Bohemian Reformation, especially with the Czech reformer Jan Hus. The chapel is named for the Innocents massacred in Bethlehem by Herod the Great in an attempt to kill the newborn Jesus Christ.

St. Giles' Church (Prague)

The Church of Saint Giles (Czech: Kostel svatého Jiljí) is a church in Prague, Czech Republic. This monumental three-aisled church was built on the foundations of a Romanesque church. Subsequently, numerous reconstructions took place during the 12th to 14th century. The Church of St. Giles in Prague was consecrated on 4 May 1371. In 1625, the church was donated to the Dominican order, which has served here and in the adjacent monastery ever since. The church was remodeled in Baroque style.

The Department of Dramatic Theatre (Czech: Divadelní fakulta Akademie múzických umění v Praze, abbreviated DAMU) is one of three departments at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (alongside the Film and TV school and the Department of Music). The academy was opened in 1945 immediately after the Second World War as a part of the newly created academy for the arts. The department's teachers have included prominent personalities in modern Czech theatre, such as Otomar Krejča, set designer František Tröster, Ivan Vyskočil, director Jiří Frejka, and Miroslav Haller. DAMU is a member of the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA) and the European network on cultural management and policy (ENCATC).

Apple Museum, Prague

The Apple Museum was a museum located in Old Town, Prague, Czech Republic. It showcased a collection of Apple memorabilia and products, and featured numerous visual and audio tributes to Steve Jobs. The collection included nearly every Apple product ever created. The museum was permanently closed in September 2020.
