Middleton bus station

Middleton bus station is a bus station located in the town of Middleton in Greater Manchester. The bus station is found next to the Middleton Shopping Centre on the site of the old bus station. The new bus station was opened on 31 July 2005 and is run by TfGM. There are thirteen stands in the bus station, A to N, with some of the stands operating a drive-in/reverse out system with the others operating a drive-through system. There are two entrances into the bus station, one from Park Road/Manchester New Road junction, and the other from Middleton Way from a dedicated bus lane. There is only one exit from the bus station, onto Middleton Way, with priority signals being used to allow buses to rejoin the main carriageway.

Long Street Methodist Church, also known as the Arts & Crafts Church, is a Methodist church and Sunday school on Long Street in Middleton, a town within the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England. Designed by the architect Edgar Wood and completed between 1899 and 1901, it is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade II* listed building for its architectural and historical significance. The church forms part of Middleton's "Golden Cluster" of heritage sites. As of 2025, it is included on Historic England's Heritage at Risk Register, rated in poor condition and with no agreed solution.
