YO1 Radio is a community radio station based in York, England. It broadcasts local news, weather, travel and information alongside music from the 1980s to the present day. It broadcasts to the city of York on 102.8 MHz FM, in Selby on 90.0 MHz FM with transmissions areas in parts of North Yorkshire on DAB+. It takes its name from a district of the YO postcode area covering central York.

Rawcliffe is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of the City of York in North Yorkshire, England. It is bordered by the A19 and A1237, and lies about 3 miles (4.8 km) north-west of York between Skelton and Clifton Without.
According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 5,407, increasing to 6,511 at the 2011 Census. Before 1996 it had been part of the Ryedale district.
The area is mainly residential but is known for its wildlife reservations that border the River Ouse which flows along its western border. Wildlife found in the area includes foxes and rabbits.
The village was historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire until 1974. It was then a part of the district of Ryedale in North Yorkshire from 1974 until 1996. Since 1996 it has been part of the City of York unitary authority.

Clifton Without
Clifton Without is a suburb and civil parish in the unitary authority area of the City of York, North Yorkshire, England. It consists of those parts of Clifton that lie outside, i.e. Without, the (pre-1996) city boundaries and Clifton Moor. It lies on the A19 about two miles north-west of central York.
According to the 2001 census it had a population of 5,113, increasing to 5,246 at the 2011 Census. Before 1996 it formed part of the Ryedale district. The Parish is bounded by the River Ouse to the west and the B1363 road and River Foss in the east, and from the Clifton Moor retail park in the north to near Clifton Green in the south. The parish contains a diverse mix of industrial and retail areas, to residential areas in the rest of the parish. The area also includes the natural areas of Clifton Ings and Clifton Backies and Rawcliffe Lake.

Clifton is a suburb of York in the unitary authority area of the City of York, in North Yorkshire, England about 1+1⁄2 miles from the city centre. The A19, passes north out of York through Clifton.
The old village area was made a conservation area in 1968. Nestle Foods Factory and the Public School of St Peter's and the former Queen Anne's Grammar School are located in Clifton.
The name Clifton is derived from the Old English pre-7th century clif, meaning a gentle slope, or more usually a riverbank, and tun, an enclosure or settlement.
