Shipley, West Yorkshire
Shipley is a historic market town and civil parish in the City of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Located on the River Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Shipley is directly north of the city of Bradford. The population of Shipley at the 2011 Census was 15,483. Until 1974, Shipley was an urban district in the West Riding of Yorkshire. The town forms a continuous urban area with Bradford.

Shipley railway station
Shipley railway station serves the market town of Shipley in West Yorkshire, England. It is 2+3⁄4 miles (4.4 km) north of Bradford Forster Square and 10+3⁄4 miles (17.3 km) north-west of Leeds.
Train services are mostly commuter services between Leeds and Bradford, the Airedale line (Leeds and Bradford to Skipton, via Keighley), and the Wharfedale Line (Leeds and Bradford to Ilkley). There are also a few main-line London North Eastern Railway services between Bradford or Skipton and London, and it also lies on the line from Leeds to Glasgow via the Settle-Carlisle Railway.
Shipley is one of only two surviving "triangular" stations in the UK: it has platforms on all three sides of a triangle of lines.

Shipley TCC
Shipley Traincare Centre is a planned motive power depot in Shipley, West Yorkshire. The facility will be immediately south of Shipley railway station on the west side of the Airedale line branch to Bradford Forster Square on a site bisected by the bridge that carries Valley Road over the railway.
When completed the depot will comprise five sidings for storage of units, north of the Valley Road bridge, with a four-road maintenance shed south of the bridge.

Church of St Paul, Shipley
The Church of St Paul, Shipley is a parish church in the town of Shipley, West Yorkshire, England. It is the only Anglican church in the benefice of Shipley St Paul. Prior to a church being built in the town, worshippers were expected to go to the Church of St Peter in Bradford. The church was opened in 1826, and consecrated in November of the same year. It is now a grade II listed structure. It was the only Anglican church in the town until a new parish of St Peter was created in 1910.
