Wythenshawe
Wythenshawe () is an area of Manchester, England. Historically part of Cheshire, in 1931 Wythenshawe was transferred to the City of Manchester, which had begun building a large housing estate there in the 1920s. With an area of approximately 11 square miles (28 km2), Wythenshawe became the largest council estate in Europe. Wythenshawe includes the areas of Baguley, Benchill, Peel Hall, Newall Green, Woodhouse Park, Moss Nook, Northern Moor, Northenden and Sharston.

Benchill
Benchill is an area in the Wythenshawe council estate 8 miles (13 km) south of Manchester city centre, in England.
In 2000, Benchill was named in the Index of Multiple Deprivation as the most deprived ward in England.
Following a review by the Boundary Committee for England, Benchill was disestablished as a local government ward in 2003, and the area divided between the neighbouring wards of Sharston, Woodhouse Park, and Northenden.
Benchill gained national media attention in February 2007 when then-Leader of the Opposition David Cameron visited the estate and was targeted by a group of youths, one of whom made a gun gesture with his hand towards him. The incident was photographed by the press.

Haveley tram stop
Haveley tram stop was a proposed tram stop on the Manchester Metrolink's Phase 3b expansion plans to Manchester Airport. It would have been located immediately east of the M56 motorway. It was originally due to open in 2016 but was dropped from the plans.

Manchester Wythenshawe
Manchester Wythenshawe was a parliamentary constituency centred on the Wythenshawe suburb of Manchester. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
The constituency was created for the 1950 general election, and abolished for the 1997 general election. It was then replaced by the new Wythenshawe and Sale East constituency which joined it with the eastern half of Sale from the Trafford Metropolitan Borough.
