Église Saint-Clément de Wasquehal

L'église Saint-Clément est une église de Wasquehal, dans le département français du Nord en région Hauts-de-France. De style gothique simple, elle est située dans le quartier du Capreau, rue Clément Béthune. Élevée en l'honneur de Saint Clément, l'église est construite pour permettre à la nouvelle population ouvrière du Capreau de suivre le culte. L'église dépend du doyenné de Roubaix de l'archidiocèse de Lille et fait partie de la paroisse Ozanam qui regroupe l'église Saint-Nicolas de Wasquehal et l'église du Sacré-Cœur du Sart. Sa construction sous l'impulsion de l'abbé Louis Couppez, s'étend de 1911 à 1912.

Palais Vaissier

The Palais Vaissier (also called the Château Vassier or Palais du Congo) was a large Orientalist mansion in Tourcoing, Nord, (France), which served as the distinctive home of industrialist Victor Vaissier. It was designed by French architect Édouard Dupire-Rozan and built in 1891–92, but was demolished in 1929. Two of its outbuildings, the residences of its concierge and the gardener, have been preserved, however, and can be viewed today from the street.
