Beach and Mason station is a streetcar station in San Francisco, California, serving the San Francisco Municipal Railway's E Embarcadero and F Market & Wharves heritage railway lines. It is located on Beach Street at Mason Street. The station opened on March 4, 2000, with the streetcar's extension to Fisherman's Wharf. Beach and Mason station is about 0.2 miles (0.32 km) from the terminus of the Powell–Mason cable car. The stop is also served by the route 47 bus, plus the L Owl bus route, which provides service along the F Market & Wharves and L Taraval lines during the late night hours when trains do not operate.

The attraction opened on June 26, 2014 and became the 17th Madame Tussauds museum to open worldwide. Madame Tussauds San Francisco closed on August 3, 2024 after 10 years in operation. It also celebrated “The Spirit of San Francisco” with wax figures of local artists, musicians and activists from the city's past.

San Francisco Dungeon

The San Francisco Dungeon was a tourist attraction that recreated historical events using 360° sets, special effects, and live actors. Visitors walked through the Dungeon, and were guided through each show by professional actors. The attraction also contained a dark boat ride. The San Francisco Dungeon was opened in June 2014, following the success of its European counterparts which include the London Dungeon and the Amsterdam Dungeon. The Dungeons are owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments. The San Francisco Dungeon closed during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown and did not reopen.

Wax Museum at Fishermans Wharf

The Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, was an attraction with over 270 wax figures. Originator Thomas Fong opened the museum in 1963 after seeing the wax figures at the Seattle World's Fair and it was run by the Fong Family until its closure in 2013. It has attracted over 400,000 visitors a year.
