Saïd Hamdine - Izeria

Said Hamdine est un quartier situé à 7 km du centre-ville d'Alger à 200 m d'altitude, qui fait partie de la commune de Bir Mourad Rais.

Le quartier a été créé par arrêté le 8 novembre 1978 dans le cadre de l'aménagement de la ville d'Alger.

Le quartier est divisé par la rocade sud et comprend le lotissement Zoubir, le lotissement El Solh, la cité police et la cité Said Hamdine, Sidi Yahia.

Bir Mourad Raïs (Arabic: بئر مراد رايس), formerly Birmendreïs, is a town in Algiers Province, Algeria. The town is named in honor of the famous Ottoman admiral Murat Raïs. It is the birthplace of French Marxist philosopher Louis Althusser, and Ali Haroun, Member of the High Council of State (1992–1994). As of 2008, its population was 45,345.

Hydra, Algiers

Hydra (Arabic: حيدرة), Located in the Bir Mourad Raïs district of Algiers, Algeria, Hydra is a well-known, affluent municipality and residential area. It is regarded as one of the wealthiest and most powerful neighborhoods in the nation and is situated atop the capital's heights. Lush greenery, winding hilly streets, and a distinctive fusion of contemporary luxury developments and Mediterranean villas from the colonial era define Hydra. The commune was created as a "garden city" during the French colonial era in order to provide a calm, elevated escape from the crowded lower Algiers Casbah and port areas.
