Cheadle Hulme High School is an 11–18 mixed secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Cheadle Hulme, Cheadle, Stockport. In 1997, it was awarded specialist language college status and in 2000 it became a training school. It has been an academy since 2012 and operates as part of The Laurus Trust. The school was rated 'Outstanding' in a 2014 and 2025 Ofsted Report.

Cheadle Hulme School is a coeducational private day school in Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester, England, for pupils aged 3 to 18. It is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference.
Founded in 1855 as the Manchester Warehousemen and Clerks' Orphan Schools, it sent pupils to an existing school in Shaw Hall, Flixton, before it moved into its own premises in Park Place, Ardwick, in 1861, and to its current location Cheadle Hulme in 1869.
The school became independent in 1976 when the Labour government abolished the direct grant system.
The school grounds covers 83 acres, and has over 1,500 pupils. Its educational experience is built upon the three pillars of being "Academic, Altruistic and Active".
The most recent inspection report commended the school for its inclusive, values-driven ethos and the diverse and enriching educational experiences it offers to all pupils. The report commented that "the school's 'Waconian Values' of resilience, integrity, endeavour, contribution and compassion are central to how the school operates". It also highlighted the school's co-curricular programme as a significant strength.

Handforth Dean is a retail park in Handforth, Cheshire, England; it opened in 1995, alongside the A34. It contains four superstores: Marks & Spencer, Tesco Extra, JD Sports and Boots. Large Next and Pets at Home stores are sited on a development adjacent to the retail park.
In 2002, the Marks & Spencer store was the company's most profitable outside London; it is also one of their largest stores in the country.

Handforth
Handforth is a town and civil parish in Cheshire, England, 9 miles (14 km) south of Manchester city centre. The population of the parish was 6,715 at the 2021 census. In the 1960s and 1970s, two overspill housing estates, Spath Lane in Handforth, and Colshaw Farm nearby in Wilmslow, were built to re-house people from inner city Manchester. It lies between Wilmslow, Heald Green, and Styal, and forms part of the Greater Manchester Built-up Area.
