Rushton is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, in the north west of England, approximately 6 miles (10 km) west of Winsford and 2 miles (3 km) north east of Tarporley. According to the 2011 census, Rushton has 484 people and is predominantly countryside. The parish includes the village of Eaton. This village contains the Jessie Hughes Village Hall, Eaton Primary School and the church of St Thomas. In 1887 Rushton was described as "Rushton.-- township, Tarporley par., Cheshire, on NE. side and in town of Tarporley, 1797 ac., pop. 334".

Oulton Park

Oulton Park is a hard surfaced track used for motor racing, close to the village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England, 5-mile (8.0 km) from Winsford, 13-mile (21 km) from Chester city centre, 8-mile (13 km) from Northwich and 17-mile (27 km) from Warrington, with a nearby rail connection along the Mid-Cheshire Line. It occupies much of the area which was previously known as the Oulton Estate. The racing circuit is owned and operated by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation.

In the early 18th century the Oulton Estate was home to the Egerton family and comprised a manor house and a formal garden surrounded by farmland in Cheshire, England. Later in the century the farmland was converted into a park. The estate is now the site of the motor racing track called Oulton Park.

Eaton is a small village and former civil parish in the Cheshire West and Chester district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England, about two miles from the town of Tarporley. It is now in the parish of Rushton. In 1931 the parish had a population of 353. The village contains the Jessie Hughes Village Hall, Eaton Primary School and the church of St Thomas.

St Thomas' Church, Eaton

St Thomas' Church is in Royal Lane, Eaton, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Malpas, the archdeaconry of Chester, and the diocese of Chester. Its benefice is united with those of St Helen, Tarporley, St John and Holy Cross, Cotebrook, and St Paul Utkinton. It is a small brick church built in 1896, with lancet windows, a west porch, and a timber bellcote. In 1936 the Lancaster architect Henry Paley of Austin and Paley refitted the church with a new marble floor to the sanctuary, reredos, pulpit, stalls, chancel screen, and with the creation of an organ chamber.
