Bullocksteads Sports Ground
Bullocksteads Sports Ground is a rugby and football facility in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is situated next to the Kingston Park stadium. It is the former home of Gosforth RFC. It has 13 grass pitches. Northumbria University and Premiership Rugby team, the Newcastle Falcons, planned to turn it into a Rugby Development Centre. The sports ground was sold to Newcastle City Council in 2017.

Kenton Bank railway station
Kenton Bank was a railway station on the Ponteland Railway, which ran between South Gosforth and Ponteland, with a sub-branch line to Darras Hall. The station served Kenton in Newcastle upon Tyne. It was opened in 1905 as Kenton, renamed in 1923, and was closed to passengers in 1929, and to goods traffic in 1965.
The current Bank Foot station, on the Tyne and Wear Metro, lies on the site of the original station site.

Bank Foot is a Tyne and Wear Metro station, serving the suburbs of Woolsington and Kenton in the English city of Newcastle upon Tyne. It opened as a single platform terminal station in 1981, with the opening of the second phase of the metro, between South Gosforth and Bank Foot. It was restructured as a two platform through station in 1991, with the opening of the extension to Newcastle Airport.

It is used mostly for rugby union and rugby league matches and is the home stadium of Premiership Rugby side Newcastle Red Bulls. From 2007 to 2009 it was home to semi-professional football team Newcastle Blue Star, and Betfred League One Rugby League side Newcastle Thunder until 2024 and was the main home to Newcastle United Women football team from 2022 to 2025.

Woolsington
Woolsington is a village in, and civil parish of, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is located north-west of the city centre, covering a large geographical area. It was also formerly an electoral ward, although the ward was slightly larger than the civil parish, extending slightly further south. The parish also includes Newbiggin Hall, Woolsington village and Newcastle Airport. It had a population of 11,160 as of the 2011 Census.
The place-name 'Woolsington' is first attested in Charter Rolls of 1204, where it appears as Wlsinton. The name means 'the town or settlement of Wulfsige's people'.
The Grade II* listed Woolsington Hall and its 92-acre estate are located in the parish. The hall is on English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register. In December 2015 the hall was severely damaged by fire.
There are four primary schools as well as a nursery and creche. There is also a children's centre. Other community facilities include Simonside Community Centre, Newbiggin Hall library, Gala Field Youth Centre and Chevyside Learning First.
Newbiggin Hall Library has computers with free internet access. Gala Field Youth Centre provides activities and support to children and young people in the area.
Simonside Community Centre on Bedeburn Road offers rooms to hire for events or meetings and a fitness suite.
