Tunstall is a village and civil parish in the county of North Yorkshire, England about 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Catterick Village and the A1(M) motorway. It had a population of 253 increasing to 271 at the 2011 census.

East Appleton

East Appleton is a hamlet in North Yorkshire, England. The poet Richard Braithwaite lived there on his estate, and was buried in the parish church. Roger Strickland later inherited the estate from Braithwaite's widow.

St Paulinus' Church, Brough

St Paulinus' Church is a former Catholic church in Brough with St Giles, a village in North Yorkshire in England. A Catholic chapel associated with Brough Hall was constructed in 1758. The church was commissioned by William Lawson, and constructed in 1837 to a design by Ignatius Bonomi. It was Grade II* listed in 1987. In 1992, the church and adjoining presbytery and schoolroom were purchased by the art collector Greville Worthington, who converted it into holiday accommodation. The church and attached buildings built of sandstone and have Welsh slate roofs. The church has two storeys and five bays, with schoolrooms in the ground floor and the church above, which has a nave and a chancel in one unit, and a north vestry. The presbytery has two storeys, three bays, and a double depth plan. The central doorway has a fanlight, the windows are sashes, and there is a coped parapet. At the rear is a walled yard with stables and other outbuildings. Inside the church, there is a grand altar based on the tomb of Walter de Gray at York Minster, and below it, a sarcophagus transferred from the catacombs of Rome, said to contain the remains of Saint Innocent. The reredos was designed by George Walker Milburn and installed in 1887. The east window has stained glass by Thomas Willement, a copy of the Five Sisters window at York Minster. The south windows have glass by William Wailes from the 1850s, and the north west window glass by H. M. Barnett, installed in 1880. There is also an 11th-century font.

Appleton East and West is a civil parish in the county of North Yorkshire, England. It contains the villages East Appleton and West Appleton, and had a population of 76 according to the 2001 census, remaining at less than 100 in the 2011 Census. From this date population details are maintained within the parish of Hornby. The settlement consists of two farms, with several water bodies in the area. From 1974 to 2023 it was part of the district of Richmondshire, it is now administered by the unitary North Yorkshire Council. In the 1870s, Appleton East and West was described as "A township in Catterick parish, N. R. Yorkshire; 5½ miles SE of Richmond. Acres, 1,583. Real property, £2,812. Pop., 115. Houses, 16"

Scotton is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in the county of North Yorkshire, England. The civil parish includes the centre and south of Catterick Garrison. The village lies in the south of the civil parish, and is effectively a suburb of Catterick Garrison. The village of Scotton is located 3+1⁄4 miles south west of Catterick village.
