Eastburn, West Yorkshire

Eastburn is a village within the Steeton with Eastburn civil parish, in the City of Bradford Metropolitan District, West Yorkshire, England. The road through Eastburn is approximately 1/2 mile long and has a post office. The village also contains a school (Eastburn Junior & Infant School), a small chapel, a farm, a factory and a former mill building which houses many businesses.

Airedale General Hospital

Airedale General Hospital is an NHS district general hospital based in Steeton with Eastburn, West Yorkshire, England and is operated by the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. Airedale was opened for patients in July 1970 and officially opened by the Prince of Wales on 11 December of the same year. The hospital covers a wide area including Keighley, Skipton and parts of the Yorkshire Dales and eastern Lancashire. As of 2021, the hospital had links for neurosurgical emergencies with Leeds General Infirmary. The hospital provides approximately 324 beds.

South Craven School

South Craven School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Cross Hills, North Yorkshire, England. It is the largest school in the Craven District and carries over 1,700 pupils. The school has formed partnerships with The Ogden Trust, Airedale NHS Trust a prominent employer in the local area, Craven College a local further education college and long-term partner Bradford University who work closely on STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) at the school, Leeds Trinity University, Leeds College of Music and finally the Bradford Local Authority. South Craven School became an academy on 1 May 2011.

Cross Hills

Cross Hills is a village in the county of North Yorkshire, England, situated halfway between Skipton and Keighley. The village is at the centre of a built-up area that includes the adjoining settlements of Glusburn, Kildwick, Eastburn and Sutton-in-Craven. Cross Hills is the newer part of the civil parish now called Glusburn and Cross Hills, historically known as Glusburn. Until 1974 it was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. From 1974 to 2023 it was part of the district of Craven, it is now administered by the unitary North Yorkshire Council.

Sutton-in-Craven

Sutton-in-Craven is a village, electoral ward and (as just Sutton) a civil parish in the county of North Yorkshire, England that is situated in the Aire Valley between Skipton and Keighley. In 2001 the population was 3,480, increasing to 3,714 at the Census 2011. The village is adjacent to Glusburn and Cross Hills, but although these three effectively form a small town, Sutton village maintains its distinct identity. Until 1974 it was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. From 1974 to 2023 it was part of the district of Craven, it is now administered by the unitary North Yorkshire Council.
