Mirfield est une petite ville anglaise et une paroisse civile qui fait partie de l'agglomération urbaine de Kirklees (Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees), dans le Yorkshire de l'Ouest, en Angleterre. Charlotte Brontë, Emily Brontë (cette dernière très brièvement), et Anne Brontë firent une partie de leurs études à Mirfield, dans l'école de Miss Margaret Wooler, située à Mirfield Moor. C'est là que Charlotte Brontë fit la connaissance de ses « amies pour la vie », Ellen Nussey et Mary Taylor. Le Mirfield Show est une manifestation annuelle agricole, qui se tient le troisième dimanche du mois d'août, au parc d'exposition de Mirfield. Cet évènement est organisé par la Mirfield Agricultural Society (MAS) ; c'est une manifestation sans but lucratif, organisée à l'intention des familles de Mirfield et des environs.

Mirfield () is a town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is on the A644 road between Brighouse and Dewsbury. At the 2011 census it had a population of 19,563. Mirfield forms part of the Heavy Woollen District. The name Mirfield derives from the Old English myrgefeld meaning 'pleasant field'.

St Mary's Church, Mirfield

St Mary's Church is the parish church of the town of Mirfield in West Yorkshire, England. The current building is a large Gothic Revival structure designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, replacing an older structure, the tower of which still survives a short distance from the present building. These structures form Mirfield's most prominent landmark and both are listed for preservation by Historic England, the old church tower as Grade II and the present building as Grade II*. The church is notable for its Victorian architecture, medieval remains and a surviving 11th-century motte-and-bailey castle mound located within the grounds. The church has been on the Heritage at Risk Register since 2013 due to substantial works required to repair the building.

Mirfield Show is an annual agricultural show held at the Huddersfield Road Showground in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, England on the third Sunday in August. It is organised and run by the Mirfield Agricultural Society (MAS) as a not-for-profit event and regularly attracts over 6,000 visitors each year from across Yorkshire.
