Wellington School, Timperley
Wellington School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form with academy status. It is located in Timperley in the English county of Greater Manchester. Previously a foundation school administered by Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council, Wellington School converted to academy status on 1 April 2011. However the school continues to coordinate with Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council for admissions, having a non-selective intake. Wellington School offers GCSEs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels.

Navigation Road station
Navigation Road is a station that serves both Northern Trains and Manchester Metrolink trams located in the east of Altrincham, in Greater Manchester, England. It consists of a Northern Trains-operated bidirectional heavy rail platform on the Mid-Cheshire line opposite a bidirectional light rail platform on the Altrincham Line of Greater Manchester's Metrolink network. The original heavy rail station was opened by the Manchester, South Junction and Altrincham Railway in 1931 as a pair of single-face platforms, and in 1992 one was given over to the Metrolink network. A level crossing operates at the southern end of the station.

Skelton Junction
Skelton Junction is a complex of railway junctions south of Manchester in Timperley, near Altrincham. Both the Cheshire Lines Committee's Liverpool to Manchester line, via the Glazebrook East Junction to Skelton Junction Line and the LNWR's Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway, fed into the junction from Liverpool in the west. The Manchester, South Junction and Altrincham Railway provided a connection from the Altrincham direction and a short spur from Timperley towards Stockport, while the CLC's Stockport, Timperley and Altrincham Junction Railway continued east to Stockport.
