The School of Information Technology is a four-year public high school in Paterson in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States, operated as part of the Paterson Public Schools. It is one of a number of academy programs serving students in ninth through twelfth grades based at the Eastside High School campus.

Paterson Museum

Le Paterson Museum est un musée américain à Paterson, dans le comté de Passaic, au New Jersey. Rogers Locomotive and Machine Works

Rogers Locomotive and Machine Works est une entreprise américaine du XIXe siècle produisant des locomotives à vapeur basée à Paterson, dans le comté de Passaic, New Jersey. Ils construisirent plus de 6000 locomotives à vapeur pour des chemins de fer à travers le monde. La plupart des chemins de fer du XIXe siècle aux États-Unis avaient au moins une locomotive Rogers. Le produit le plus fameux de la compagnie était une locomotive baptisée The General, construite en décembre 1855. Rogers était le deuxième producteur de locomotive le plus apprécié du XIXe siècle derrière le Baldwin Locomotive Works parmi presque une centaine de compagnies.

Fenian Ram

Le Fenian Ram est un sous-marin conçu par John Philip Holland pour être utilisé par la Fenian Brotherhood, l'homologue américain de l'Irish Republican Brotherhood, organisation révolutionnaire contre les Britanniques. La construction et le lancement du Ram en 1881 par la Delamater Iron Company à New York ont été financés par le Fenians 'Skirmishing Fund. Officiellement nommé Holland Boat No. II, le rôle des Fenians dans son financement a conduit le journal New York Sun à nommer le navire le Fenian Ram.

Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park

Le Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park est une aire protégée américaine à Paterson, dans le comté de Passaic, au New Jersey. As of the 2020–21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 657 students and 50.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.1:1. There were 309 students (47.0% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and none eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Awards, recognition and rankings

The school was the 336th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 339 schools statewide in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2014 cover story on the state's "Top Public High Schools", using a new ranking methodology, after being ranked 314th in the state in 2012.
