Stari Kot (pronounced [ˈstaːɾi ˈkoːt]; in older sources also Stari Vinkelj, German: Altwinkel, Gottschee German: Autbinkl) is a village in the Municipality of Loški Potok in southern Slovenia, next to the border with Croatia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.
