The Chaldean Catholic Archeparchy of Ahvaz (or Ahwaz)(informally called Ahvaz of the Chaldeans) is a non-Metropolitan archeparchy (Eastern Catholic archdiocese) of the particular Chaldean Catholic Church sui iuris (Syro-Oriental Rite in Syriac language) in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran. It is directly dependent on the Chaldean Catholic Patriarch of Babylon, not part of any ecclesiastical province.

Attentat d'Ahvaz

L'attentat d'Ahvaz est une attaque terroriste survenue le 22 septembre 2018 en Iran. Elle est menée lors d'un défilé militaire du Corps des Gardiens de la révolution islamique commémorant le début de la guerre Iran-Irak. L'attentat fait 29 morts, dont 24 parmi les Gardiens de la révolution. Cette attaque est la plus meurtrière survenue en Iran depuis l'attentat-suicide de Chabahar en décembre 2010.
