Sunnybrow - Izeria

Sunnybrow is a village in County Durham, in England. In the 2001 census Sunnybrow had a population of 1,296. It is effectively the southern suburb of Willington. It has a primary school and a car show room as well as a cemetery which was created in 1889 along with a now demolished church as part of the Sunnybrow St. John Parish. In 2008, its only post office was closed. Sunnybrow is also home to the Spectrum Leisure Complex (opened in 1985 by Lord Roxborough who was eight at the time) which featured the only dry ski slope in the area. However due to a decline in the demand for alpine skiing in the South West Durham area, this part of the facility was closed in 2004.

Parkside Academy

Parkside Academy (formerly Parkside School and then Parkside Sports College), is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Hall Lane Estate, Willington, Crook, County Durham, England. Parkside teaches a wide range of standard, and specialist curriculum subjects as well as a multitude of after school activities. It is a well known community association and hosts a state of the art Gym and activities for youths under 16. The school specializes in Information Technology and Physical Education. It has an Ofsted rating of Good, and was last given an inspection in the 23/24 academic year. This was down from an Outstanding rating given in the schools previous inspection in 2011.

Crook and Willington was an urban district in County Durham, England, from 1937 to 1974. It was created by a merger of the previous Crook and Willington urban districts, along with part of the disbanded Auckland Rural District. It later formed part of the Wear Valley district.
