Four Crosses in South Staffordshire, Staffordshire, England. Is a scattered hamlet located between Cannock and Wolverhampton. As well as Penkridge and Hatherton. Cannock Hockey Club are an English professional field hockey team. They were established in 1905, and are based in the village of Hatherton, near Cannock, Staffordshire. Both the men's and women's first teams have played in the England Hockey League Premier Division, the top division of hockey in England. The women’s first team play in the Midlands Conference, whilst the men’s first team play in Midlands Division 2.

Hatherton is a settlement and civil parish located 3+1⁄4 miles south-east of Penkridge, and on the western edge of modern-day Cannock, Staffordshire, England, and lying adjacent to and north of Watling Street, now the A5.
The civil parish include the village of Calf Heath.
Hatherton was given to Wolverhampton monastery by Lady Wulfruna in 994. Its name, Hagerthorndun in the Domesday Book, means "the hill where Hawthorns grow". It was once an exclave of Wolverhampton.
Hatherton gave its name to the title of Baron Hatherton, and thus to the now-derelict, nearby, Hatherton Canal.
The Four Crosses inn at Hatherton features an inscription dated '1636N'. Hatherton Hall is an 1817, late-Georgian house, stucco finished, replacing a former Norman hall. The village church, St Saviour, dates from 1876.

Wedges Mills is a small village in the South Staffordshire District in Staffordshire, England, close to the border with Cannock Chase District. The area is located on the A4601 between Cannock and Featherstone. The area is mainly residential and has a large industrial estate. It is also located quite close to the M6 Toll. The area is part of the Bridgtown parish area. Select Bus service 67 connects the area with Cannock and Wolverhampton via Shareshill and Featherstone, operating three through journeys plus an additional journey between Wedge Mills and Cannock only.

Saredon is a civil parish in South Staffordshire district, Staffordshire, England, situated to the north east of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, and to the south west of Cannock.
Formed from two hamlets, Little and Great Saredon, this parish lies south of the A5 and is bisected by the busy M6. The Saredon Brook, a tributary of the Penk, formerly known as that river's Cannock Heath branch, links the hamlets. This brook provided the energy for two powerful corn mills at Saredon and Deepmore, and was also renowned for the large number of trout it held.
There was also a windmill in the middle of Little Saredon, which remained in use until at least 1872, its working life thereafter being slightly prolonged through the use of a portable steam engine to drive the stones. In 1942, the remains of the sails were removed and the tower was converted into a house for the proprietor of Hawkins Tile Works in Cannock.
Little Saredon's other noteworthy feature was the disproportionately large number of yew trees that used to grow there. Great Saredon has a Roman tumulus on high ground, a quarter mile distant from, and facing, the A5. The estimated population in 2004 was 739.

The Hatherton Canal is a derelict branch of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal in south Staffordshire, England. It was constructed in two phases, the first section opening in 1841 and connecting the main line to Churchbridge, from where a tramway connected to the Great Wyrley coal mines. The second section was a joint venture with the Birmingham Canal Navigations, and linked Churchbridge to the Cannock Extension Canal by a flight of 13 locks, which were opened with the Extension Canal in 1863. The coal traffic was very profitable, and the canal remained in use until 1949. It was formally abandoned in 1955, after which the Churchbridge flight and much of the Extension Canal were destroyed by open cast mining.
Plans for its restoration began in 1975 and the forerunner to the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust was formed in 1989. Since then they have worked hard to protect and restore the canal, which was threatened by the route of the M6 Toll motorway. Negotiations eventually led to the provision of two culverts, one paid for by the Trust and the other by the road builders, which will be used in due course for the route of the re-aligned canal. In 2006, the engineers Arup produced a feasibility study for a replacement route for the destroyed section which would link to Grove Basin on the Cannock Extension Canal. Environmental concerns led to a second feasibility study being produced by Atkins in 2009, for a route which connected to the derelict Lord Hayes Branch on the Wyrley and Essington Canal. A short section near the junction with the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal is navigable, and the cost of restoring the rest and building the new route to the Wyrley and Essington was estimated at £44.1 million in 2009.
Four Crosses is also home to the former Chase Park Cricket Club. Which closed in 2019 and has been left derelict since closure. The hamlet appears on OS Maps as Four Crosses.
