Buckhaven Lifeboat Station
Buckhaven Lifeboat Station was located at the top of Buckhaven Harbour at Buckhaven, a town overlooking the Firth of Forth, sitting on the south-east coast of the Fife peninsula, in Scotland. A lifeboat was first placed at Buckhaven in 1900, by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). After 32 years in operation, Buckhaven Lifeboat Station was closed in 1932.

The site is associated with the MacDuff Earls of Fife, the most powerful family in Fife in the Middle Ages, although nothing survives from this period. The present ruins are the remains of the home of the Wemyss family, who lived here from the 14th century, and their successors in the 16th century.
