Le Taubergießen est une plaine alluviale du sud de la vallée du Rhin supérieur. Il a été classé réserve naturelle (de) en 1979. Avec 1 697 hectare, c’est l’une des plus grandes zones protégées du Bade-Wurtemberg. Il s’étend du nord au sud sur plus de 12 km. Sa plus grande largeur est d’environ 2,5 km.

Pirates in Batavia is a water dark ride at Europa-Park that opened originally in 1987 and reopened on July 28, 2020. It was rebuilt in place of the old ride by the same name, which burned down in a fire in 2018. The ride was built by Mack Rides and was situated in a large hall at the Dutch themed area, which was designed as a typical Dutch clinker brick building from the outside. Even the rebuild front view of the building, looks very similar to the original outside of the ride, with the only difference of a bigger front window and the removal of the Pirate flag.
Its theming is based on Indonesia, which the Dutch colonized from 1596 to 1942.

Atlantica SuperSplash is a water coaster in Europa-Park, Germany. Built by Mack Rides, it opened on 19 March 2005. The ride is themed around the Conquistadors of the Portuguese Empire. It is the prototype for identical roller coasters at three other parks around the world. There are also two other SuperSplash coasters with custom layouts, including Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld San Antonio.
