Mumrills
Mumrills was the site of the largest Roman fort on the Antonine Wall in Scotland. It is possible that Mumrills could exchange signals with Flavian Gask Ridge forts. Some believe Mumrills may have been the site of Wallace's defeat at the Battle of Falkirk. The farm at Mumrills was also used as an early site for the Falkirk Relief Church.

Grandsable Cemetery
Grandsable Cemetery (sometimes called Grangemouth Cemetery) lies east of Falkirk, between the A9 and A803 south of Grangemouth near Polmont. It lies on a small hill with views over the Firth of Forth. It is well-maintained with a mature and well-laid landscape. Unlike other cemeteries in the wider area it has almost no vandalism, probably due to its distance from any main town. The cemetery is operated by Falkirk Council.

The distillery produces unpeated lowland style whisky. The distillery produces 200,000 litres of spirit per year.

Westquarter is a village in the Falkirk council area of Scotland. The village is 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Polmont and 1.8 miles (2.9 km) south-east of the town of Falkirk.
Westquarter can be accessed from the north via the A803 road and from the south via the B805 road.
At the 2001 census the village of Westquarter was recorded as having a resident population of 1,105.
In 1876 George McRoberts who already manufactured detonators (for mining) at Westquarter, was joined by Alfred Nobel to build the Nobel Explosives Factory in Westquarter.
