Provanhall - Izeria

Provanhall is a neighbourhood of Easterhouse in east Glasgow, Scotland. It is named after the estate and medieval house, Provan Hall. The area is to the immediate east of Provan Hall and Glasgow Fort shopping centre and to the north of Shandwick Square Shopping Centre. The area is bounded by Gartloch fields, part of Glasgow's greenbelt with North Lanarkshire. Part of the estate was built on the remains of Provan Loch, part of the kettle ponds in the area that feed the Molendinar burn that flows into the River Clyde in Glasgow.

Provan Hall

Provan Hall (also known over time as Provanhall, Hall of Provan and Hall Mailings) is a historic place composed of two buildings built about the 15th century and situated in Auchinlea Park, Easterhouse, Glasgow. It is owned by the National Trust for Scotland and leased by Glasgow City Council. The two parallel buildings, enclosing a courtyard, are protected as a category A listed building. The building has recently been renovated and now operates as a small museum. It is managed by Provan Hall Community Management Trust. It has been used as a set for filming ‘Outlander’.

Glasgow Fort

Glasgow Fort is a large out-of-town shopping and leisure park in Glasgow, Scotland, just off Junction 10 of the M8 motorway which runs to the south, surrounded by the residential areas of Provanhall, Garthamlock and Easterhouse. It was opened in 2004 built on land which had been part of Auchinlea Park (previously the site of two quarries) which still exists to its immediate east.

St Leonard's Secondary School

St. Leonard's Secondary School (The Lenny) was a Catholic, mixed-sex, comprehensive secondary school located in Easterhouse, Glasgow. It was permanently closed in 1998 to pupils, and soon after was demolished. On the same ground now stands St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Primary School. The majority of pupils were relocated to St Andrew's Secondary.

Easthall

Easthall is a residential neighbourhood in the East End of the Scottish city of Glasgow. Since 2007 it has been part of the Baillieston administrative ward within the Glasgow City Council area.
