Dabas parks Piejūra (lit. 'Nature Park Piejūra' or 'Seaside') is a nature park along the Gulf of Riga in Latvia founded in 1962. It is a protected nature reserve and a Natura 2000 location. The park stretches 36.6 kilometres (22.7 mi) over an 4,180 hectares (10,300 acres) area from Riga, through Carnikava Municipality, and up to Saulkrasti.

Carnikava Municipality is a former municipality in Vidzeme, Latvia. The municipality was formed in 2006 by reorganization of Carnikava Parish of the Riga district, with the administrative centre being Carnikava. The population in 2009 was 6,261 people.
The parish itself was created in 1992 after splitting from Ādaži Parish. After the municipal reform of 2009, the districts were abolished and the Municipality became a national administrative unit. On 1 July 2021, Carnikava Municipality ceased to exist and its territory was merged into Ādaži Municipality as Carnikava Parish.

Carnikava Station is a railway station serving the village of Carnikava in Carnikava Parish, Ādaži Municipality, Vidzeme, Latvia. It is located on the Zemitāni–Skulte Railway. The train services to and from the station are operated by the national railway company Vivi which run frequent train services between Riga and Skulte.
The station was put into service on 26 October 1933 as the then-terminus stop of the line. The station building was unveiled in 1934 or 1935, and it was built, using parts of disassembled station buildings on the former Daugavpils–Rītupe Railway line.
The building features premises for railway personnel. The ticket office of the building was closed in 2025.

Ādaži Airfield is an airfield in Latvia. It is situated near Eimuri, Ādaži Parish, 30 km north of Riga.
The first private certified airfield in Latvia, which may receive up to 60 small private planes. The range of services includes training of ultra-light plane pilots, maintenance and repair works for planes, trade and rent of planes, as well as advertising flights.
It is a popular seasonal recreation location, notably for beach access. The park is notable for its protected biotopes, particularly its dunes and boreal forests. The park's conservation plan for 2020 onwards was developed under the "LIFE CoHaBit" project.
