L'église est inscrite au titre des monuments historiques par arrêté le 4 février 2026, en tant que « témoignage de l'architecture religieuse du XIXe siècle faisant partie du courant néo-roman ».

La décoration intérieure est remarquable par la richesse des décors et sa polychromie.
