Gmina Janów is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. Its seat is the village of Janów, which lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) west of Sokółka and 39 km (24 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok. The gmina covers an area of 207.84 square kilometres (80.2 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 4,427.
