The Serbia Open was a professional tennis tournament, part of the ATP 250 series and the ATP Tour. Played on outdoor clay courts, the event was held for the first time in 2009 in Belgrade, Serbia. It was the first for Serbia, as the country had never before hosted an Association of Tennis Professionals tournament. The tournament was held as a combined men's and women's event in 2021. This marked the first time in history a WTA tournament was held in Serbia. The last edition was played in 2022, after which the tournament moved for a one-year period to Banja Luka, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina and rebranded as Srpska Open.

The Metropolitan University is a private-owned university located in Belgrade, Serbia. The university came as the join of the Faculty of Information Technology and other governing departments of the university in 2010, which previously existed as an individual institution. As of 2023–24 academic year, it has 2,053 students and 184 academic staff.
The founder and rector, Dragan Domazet, was the Minister of Science of the Republic of Serbia from 2001 to 2004.

Nebojša Tower is the only surviving mediaeval tower of the Belgrade Fortress. Built in the 15th century, it was the major defensive tower of the fortress for centuries. Later it served as a dungeon and in 2010 it was adapted into a museum. The tower is located near the confluence of the Sava into the Danube.

The Chapel of Saint Petka in Belgrade is a chapel, erected over a sacred spring, and dedicated to Saint Petka. It is located at a way connecting the upper and the lower city of the Belgrade Fortress, in proximity of the Ružica Church, with the spring being in the very altar of the chapel. The present-day chapel was built in 1937 after a project of the architect Momir Korunović. Its inner walls and vaults are covered by mosaics done by painter Đuro Radlović in 1980–1983.

Beo zoo vrt, also known as Vrt dobre nade, is a publicly owned zoo in Belgrade, Serbia. Established on July 12, 1936, it situated in the historic Kalemegdan Park. Belgrade zoo covers an area of 7 hectares and houses a collection of 210 animal species, with approximately 800 individuals, making it the largest zoological garden in Serbia. With around 400,000 annual visitors it is also recognized as one of the most popular tourist attractions in Belgrade.
