Established in 2003, it is run by the Emmanuel Schools Foundation established by entrepreneur Sir Peter Vardy. It was officially opened by Prime Minister Tony Blair in March 2004. It has capacity for 1,250 students and promotes a specialism in Business and Enterprise.
