Międzychód (pronounced [mʲɛnˈd͡zɨxut] ; German: Birnbaum, pronounced [ˈbɪʁnˌbaʊm] ) is a town in Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland, the administrative seat of Międzychód County. It is located on the southern shore of the Warta river, about 75 km (47 mi) west of Poznań. Population is 10,844 (2010).

The gmina covers an area of 307.24 square kilometres, and as of 2006 its total population is 18,290.
The gmina contains part of the protected area called Pszczew Landscape Park.

Its administrative seat and largest town is Międzychód, which lies 74 kilometres west of the regional capital Poznań. The only other town in the county is Sieraków, lying 16 km east of Międzychód.
