Kingston Park is a suburb of Newcastle upon Tyne, about 4 miles (6 km) north west of the city centre. It is home to several large retailers, the largest being one of Tesco's flagship stores—at 11,055 square metres (119,000 sq ft) which was also the largest supermarket in the United Kingdom for one period of time. Kingston Park is served by Kingston Park station on the Tyne and Wear Metro.

Kingston Park is a Tyne and Wear Metro station, serving the suburb of Kingston Park in the English city of Newcastle upon Tyne. It was opened in 1985, adjacent to the level crossing carrying Brunton Lane across the railway and with staggered platforms on either side of the level crossing.

Kenton Bar

Kenton Bar is a housing estate, that is part of Kenton Ward [1] in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is situated immediately west of North Kenton and to the north of Cragston Park and Cowgate. The estate was designed by the Ryder and Yates architectural practice. All buildings have a distinctive flat roof design. Many have white or cream walls, which in many cases owe their colour to crushed sea-shells attached to the rendering while it was still wet. Construction of the estate began shortly after 1966 and comprises terraced houses, bungalows, and flats. The estate is roughly crescent-shaped and surrounds the western and northern sides of Kenton School's playing fields. Hazeldene Avenue runs around the outer perimeter of the estate and, at both ends, provides the estate's only vehicular access and egress. Ryal Walk, Studdon Walk and Hartburn Walk are the main pedestrian thoroughfares, running along the inner side of the "crescent". The estate was designed in such a way that almost every pair of dwellings on the estate, apart from the single terrace of town-houses on the southern side of Hazeldene Avenue near its junction with Kenton Lane, is linked by a pedestrian route, without the need to cross any road. The Newcastle Western Bypass, part of the A1, runs along the north-western edge of the estate and is separated from Hazeldene Avenue by a fence and earth embankment.

Bank Foot Metro station

Bank Foot is a Tyne and Wear Metro station, serving the suburbs of Woolsington and Kenton in the English city of Newcastle upon Tyne. It opened as a single platform terminal station in 1981, with the opening of the second phase of the metro, between South Gosforth and Bank Foot. It was restructured as a two platform through station in 1991, with the opening of the extension to Newcastle Airport.

Kingston Park (stadium)

Kingston Park is a multi-purpose stadium in Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is used mostly for rugby union and rugby league matches and is the home stadium of Premiership Rugby side Newcastle Red Bulls. From 2007 to 2009 it was home to semi-professional football team Newcastle Blue Star, and Betfred League One Rugby League side Newcastle Thunder until 2024 and was the main home to Newcastle United Women football team from 2022 to 2025.
