Leven distillery is an experimental Scotch single malt whisky distillery and bottling facility in Leven, Scotland. It is owned by the drinks giant Diageo. The bottling and packaging facility claims to be the biggest packaging plant on the planet. It is also therefore reported as Diageo’s largest packaging plant in the world.

Fife Heritage Railway is a heritage railway run by The Kingdom of Fife Railway Preservation Society, formed in 1992, which aims to showcase the heritage of the railways of Fife and restore locomotives and rolling stock that once worked in Fife. They are based in Levenmouth, Scotland which has been their base since 2003.

East Fife Girls and Women's Football Club are a Scottish women's football team based in the Fife coastal town of Leven. The team, established in 2000, were originally named Kirkland Ladies and changed to East Fife Ladies in 2002. They currently compete in the SWPL 2 the second tier of Scottish Women's football.
East Fife won the SWFL North in 2016 and were promoted to the SWPL 2. The team finished in 7th place out of 8 teams in the SWPL 2 in 2017 and were relegated back into the SWFL North for the 2018 season. Following the completion of the 21/22 season East wife finished 2nd in the SWFL championship north and won the play off final winning promotion to the SWPL 2 for the season 22/23.

Kirkland High School and Community College
Kirkland High School (formerly known as Kirkland High School and Community College and Kirkland Junior High School) was a six-year comprehensive school in Methil that served the population in the Levenmouth area, Scotland. From January 2005 until June 2016 the head teacher was Ronnie Ross. In June 2012 Fife Council proposed that the school should merge with neighbouring Buckhaven High School to create Levenmouth Academy. The plans were approved in April 2014 and the new school opened to pupils on 17 August 2016. In September 2015 the student roll was 421, less than half of the roll of 900 the school had in 2000.
