Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple (Tamil: ஸ்ரீ வீரமாகாளியம்மன் கோவில்; Chinese: 维拉马卡拉曼庙), also known earlier as Soonambu Kambam Kovil, is a Hindu temple located in the middle of Little India in the southern part of Singapore. The temple started as a shrine dedicated to the Hindu goddesses Kali and Parvati in 1855 before a temple was built by Bengali labourers in 1881.

Little India is commonly known as Tekka among the Indian Singaporean community. The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hall is a building on Race Course Lane in Little India, Singapore. Officially opened in 1953 in honour of Mahatma Gandhi, it housed the Singapore Indian Development Association in the 1990s. Beginning in 2008, it was occupied by The Hindi Society.

2013 Little India riot
The 2013 Little India riot took place on 8 December 2013 after a fatal accident occurred at SST 21:23 at the junction of Race Course Road and Hampshire Road in Little India, Singapore, causing angry mobs of migrant labourers from India to attack the bus involved and emergency vehicles that had by then arrived at the location. About 300 migrant labourers were involved in the riot which lasted for around two hours.
This was the second riot in post-independence Singapore, and the first in 44 years since the 1969 race riots. The riots led to stricter laws and higher penalties on alcohol consumption and sales, culminating in the Liquor Control Act in 2015.

The House of Tan Teng Niah is a building in Little India, Singapore. It is the last surviving Chinese villa in Little India.
