Churwell is a settlement in the civil parish of Morley, in the Leeds district, in West Yorkshire, England, between Leeds city centre and Morley. It is 3 miles (5 km) south-west of Leeds city centre and 1.5 miles (2 km) away from the Leeds United stadium Elland Road. Churwell still retains its semi-rural feel with farms nearby cultivating, in particular, vegetables and rhubarb.

It is anticipated by the developers that Cottingley railway station will close due to the proximity of the two stations.
