The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1964. As of the 2023–24 school year, the school had an enrollment of 580 students and 47.5 classroom teachers, for a student–teacher ratio of 12.2:1. Acquackanonk people

The Acquackanonk were a Lenape group whose territory was on the Passaic River in northern New Jersey. They spoke the same dialect and shared the same totem as the neighboring Hackensack, Tappan and Rumachenanck. It may mean a place in a rapid stream where fishing is done with a net. Alternatively, at the lamprey stream from contemporary axkwaakahnung Lastly it may mean where gum blocks were made for pounding corn. Ackquekenon was spelling used by European explorer Jasper Danckaerts in 1679. Part of the territory which they inhabited came into the possession of the Surveyor General of New Netherland Jacques Cortelyou, some "12,000 morgens at Aquackanonk on the Passaic, purchased by himself and associates of the Indians." A deed for the land is dated March 25, 1676. It was first settled in 1678 by Dutch traders, who in 1693 formed a Dutch Reformed congregation. Acquackanonk Township was incorporated in 1693. It was located in the northern part of Essex County, New Jersey. In 1837, Passaic County was created, incorporating this township and some portions of both Bergen County and Essex County. When formed, the township included parts of present-day Clifton, Paterson and Passaic.

Jacobus Demarest House

The Jacobus Demarest House, also known as the Demarest–Gurd–Casey House, is located at 618 River Road in the borough of New Milford in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The historic stone house was built by 1765. It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1936. Listed as the Jacobus DesMarest House, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 17, 1978, for its significance in architecture.

The school has an indoor basketball court with stage, fitness center, library, Holocaust Resource Room, Innovation lab with 3D printers, art and music rooms, computer lab, Beit Midrash, and kosher cafeteria.
