The Penn State University Libraries consists of 36 libraries at 22 locations in Pennsylvania. The two main buildings on Penn State's University Park campus are the Pattee and Paterno libraries.

The Ag Hill Complex or simply Ag Hill is a collection of some of Penn State's oldest buildings. The School of Agriculture was established on a plateau northeast of Old Main, which would come to be known as Ag Hill.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications is a college at Pennsylvania State University. It is home to four departments: Advertising/Public Relations, Journalism, Film Production and Media Studies, and Telecommunications and Media Industries.
Offering five undergraduate majors, a master's degree in media studies, and a Ph.D. program in mass communications, the college is the largest accredited program of its kind in the United States. The college's facilities are located on the University Park campus.
The school was renamed in 2017 after television producer Donald P. Bellisario following his $30 million donation.

The J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School is the university organization in charge of the admission, matriculation and graduation of all graduate students. In addition to its administrative functions, the Fox Graduate School serves as a main unit that promotes and provides professional development for students to supplement the efforts of graduate programs and colleges. The Fox Graduate School is also in charge of reviewing the quality of graduate degree programs and helping with university-wide strategic planning for graduate education efforts and initiatives.

Beaver Field, was the first official home to the Penn State football and baseball teams in University Park, Pennsylvania, United States. Retroactively known as "Old Beaver Field", it had a capacity of 500 and stood between present-day Osmond and Frear Laboratories, now the site of a parking lot.

Old Main is The Pennsylvania State University's first building of major significance. First completed in 1867, the current incarnation of the building was completed in 1930. Today, Old Main serves as the administrative center of Penn State, housing the offices of the president and other officials. It is located in the Farmers' High School Historic District, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
