Regis High School is a private Catholic high school in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in the Diocese of La Crosse. The school serves grades 9 through 12 in high school, while the school building also houses Regis Middle School which serves grades 6 through 8. It is part of the Regis Catholic Schools system, which also includes three elementary schools.

WQOW is a television station licensed to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in the United States. It serves the Chippewa Valley as an affiliate of the ABC network and is owned by Allen Media Group. The station's studios are located on Friedeck Road in Eau Claire, while its transmitter is located at the WEAU facilities in nearby Altoona, Wisconsin.
Although identifying as a separate station in its own right, WQOW is considered a semi-satellite of WXOW. It carries most of WXOW's syndicated programming but airs its own commercials, identifications, local newscasts, severe weather cut-ins, and Sunday religious programs. The station also maintains an independent web and social media presence. WQOW serves the northern portion of the La Crosse and Eau Claire media market, while WXOW covers the southern area. Although WQOW maintains its own facilities, some functions such as master control and other technical operations are handled by WXOW's studio near La Crescent, Minnesota. The two stations are reported as one for ratings purposes. As of October 2025, DirecTV, Dish Network, and most vMVPD providers carry both WXOW and WQOW.

Putnam Park is a 230-acre community park located in the city of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on land owned by the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire The park is located in the middle of the city and follows the course of both the Chippewa River to the west and Little Niagara Creek to the east. Much of the park lies on the boundary of the Third Ward neighborhood. The eastern terminus of the park sits directly south of a steep section of Harding Avenue, once called "Plank Street Hill." The western section of the park, as well as much of the eastern section, have been designated as a State Natural Area.
The park is administered by Putnam Park Commission, a body composed of representatives from UWEC, the Eau Claire City Council, and the community at large.

The Jane E. Putnam Memorial Chapel is a Neogothic-styled funeral chapel built in 1908 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural significance in 2000.
