The John Bliss House is an historic stone ender house on 2 Wilbur Avenue near Bliss Road in Newport, Rhode Island. The late seventeenth century Jacobean house is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Rhode Island. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2025. The large farmhouse was built around 1679/1680 by Quaker Elder, John Bliss, on land deeded to him by his father-in-law Governor Benedict Arnold, Rhode Island's first Governor and great grandfather to the Revolutionary War traitor of the same name.

The Bird's Nest is a historic house at 526 Broadway at the One Mile Corner junction in Newport, Rhode Island, not far from the city line with Middletown. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, three bays wide and two deep, with a gable roof and a large central chimney. A two-story ell extends from the rear of the house, and there are smaller additions which further enlarge the house by small amounts. An early 20th-century garage stands behind the house. The oldest portion of the house is estimated to have been built between 1725 and 1750, with most of the alterations coming in the 19th century, giving the house a vernacular mix of Federal, Greek Revival, and Gothic Revival elements. It was given its name by Dr. Rowland Hazard, who bought the property in the 1840s and used it as a summer retreat.
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Hamilton Hoppin House is an historic house at 120 Miantonomi Ave in Middletown, Rhode Island. It has been known by several names, including Villalon, Montpelier, Shadow Lawn, Agincourt Inn, and, currently, The Inn at Villalon.
The oldest part of the house was designed by architect Richard Upjohn, as was Kingscote in Newport. It was built in an Italianate style in the mid-nineteenth century and it is one of the first Italianate stick-style houses to be built in the United States. The Hamilton Hoppin House was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
The house was featured on an episode of Weird Travels as the Inn at Shadow Lawn and it was claimed to be haunted.

Malbone is one of the oldest mansions in Newport, Rhode Island. The original mid-18th century estate was the country residence of Col. Godfrey Malbone of Virginia and Connecticut. The main house burned down during a dinner party in 1766 and the remaining structure sat dormant for many years until New York lawyer Jonathan Prescott Hall built a new roughly 5,800 ft2 castellated residence directly on top of the old ivy-covered ruins.

The station, the first to be built on Aquidneck Island, signed on the air in 1948 and has used the callsign WADK since November 23, 1953. Its broadcast tower has been located off Garfield Street in Newport since 1967.
