St Mary's Monastery, Kinnoull

St Mary's Monastery is a Christian spirituality and retreat centre in Kinnoull, Perth, Scotland. It was built in 1868 by the Redemptorists. Until 1971, it also served as a novitiate for the Redemptorists. In 1870, the church and shrine, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, was built within the grounds. It is located on Hatton Road, to the east of Kinnoull, on the edge of Kinnoull Hill, overlooking the city of Perth. The building has been registered as a category B listed building by Historic Environment Scotland, and was the first Roman Catholic monastery established in Scotland since the Reformation.

Bowerswell

Bowerswell (formerly known as Whistlecroft) is an early-19th-century house on Bowerswell Road, Kinnoull, Scotland. It is a Grade B listed building and was the childhood home of Effie Gray; she and John Ruskin were married there in 1848. After World War II, the house and surrounding grounds were purchased by Perth Council as a "living" war memorial; the house and 20 cottages in the grounds serve as sheltered housing. The City of Perth Book of Remembrance for WW2 is housed in the building.

Somerset is an historic villa in Kinnoull, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Located on Kinnoull Terrace, it is a Category C listed building, built around 1868. It is one of five listed properties on the street, denoted by Historic Environment Scotland as items of special interest. Several of the properties appear on maps of Perth from the 1860s.

Craigievar and Darnick

Craigievar and Darnick is an historic double villa in Kinnoull, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Located on Kinnoull Terrace, it is a Category B listed building, built around 1870. The work of architect Andrew Heiton, who lived at the property upon its completion, it is one of five listed properties on the street, denoted by Historic Environment Scotland as items of special interest. Several of the properties appear on maps of Perth from the 1860s. The villa remained in the Heiton family until 1927, when Andrew Granger Heiton's widow, Catherine, sold it.

Witchhill House

Witchhill House is an historic villa in Kinnoull, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Located on Kinnoull Terrace, it is a Category B listed building, built around 1860. Designed by David Smart, it is one of five listed properties on the street, denoted by Historic Environment Scotland as items of special interest. Several of the properties appear on maps of Perth from the 1860s. Along with the two other listed villas on its (the western) side of the street, it has a gate in the communal boundary wall that runs along a stretch of the Dundee Road to the west; however, the one for Langlands has been filled in. Witchhill Quarry, which formerly stood on the site of Kinnoull Terrace, was the source of much of the stone used in Perth's buildings from the 19th century onwards.
