Namysłów (pronounced NAMI-swoof [naˈmɨswuf] , German: Namslau; Silesian: Namysłow) is a historic town in southern Poland, within Opole Voivodeship. Located along the Widawa River, it is the capital of Namysłów County. Its population was 16,551 in 2019.

Namysłów County is a unit of territorial administration and local government in Opole Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Namysłów, which lies 48 kilometres north of the regional capital, which is the city of Opole.
The county covers an area of 747.67 square kilometres. As of 2019 its total population is 42,692, out of which the population of Namysłów is 16,557 and the rural population is 27,400.

Namysłów Town Hall was built in the second half of the fourteenth century. Formerly built in Gothic style but then built into the Renaissance style, in 2002 the town hall was renovated. Today it is recognised as one of the most beautiful cultural points of heritage in Namysłów. The town hall is the main building in the old town square in the city, located in the centre of the square. The town hall was added to the list of Registered Cultural Heritage with the position 939/64 in 1964.
