Kholodne (en ukrainien : Холодне, en russe : Холодное, Kholodnoïe) est une commune urbaine de l'est de l'Ukraine, dans l'oblast de Donetsk, dépendante du raïon de Donetsk, et de la communauté territoriale de la ville de Makiïvka. La ville s'est nommée Sverdlove avant son changement de nom en 2016. Elle était peuplée de 1437 habitants en 2019.

The Kholodna Balka coal mine is a large coal mine located in the south-east of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast. Kholodna Balka represents one of the largest coal reserves in Ukraine, having estimated reserves of 51.3 million tonnes. The annual coal production is around 523,000 tonnes. It it administratvely under the state enterprise Makiivugol.
The mine extracts thermal coal used in the energy sector, which is then transported to Starobesheve Thermal Power Plant in Novyi Svit.
