Pori Jazz is a large international jazz festival, held annually during the month of July in the coastal city of Pori (a population of 82,809 in January 2010), Finland. It is one of the oldest and best known jazz festivals in Europe, having been arranged every year since 1966.

Kirjurinluoto Arena is an open-air concert park in the city of Pori, Finland. It is the only venue in Finland that is designed especially for open-air events. Size of the amphitheater-type arena is five hectares. Concert park area includes also 22 hectares for camping and parking.
Kirjurinluoto Arena was built in 2001 and it is part of the Pori National Urban Park. The arena is located in Kirjurinluoto island, which lies in the delta of Kokemäenjoki-river. The island has been a park and a recreational area for the residents of Pori since the 19th century.
Main user of the Kirjurinluoto Arena is annual Pori Jazz festival. Arena has also hosted RMJ and Sonisphere music festivals as well as several fairs and religious events.

Pori Brewery was a brewery in Pori, Finland established 1853. It was last owned by Danish brewing company Carlsberg and closed in 2009. Pori Brewery was the second oldest brewery in Finland and one of the oldest in Nordic countries.
Pori Brewery was established by three local businessmen Anton Björnberg, K.J. Löneberg and Isaak Karström. It was first known as Bayerska Bryggeriet. In 1898 the brewery merged with another Pori based brewery and was newly named as Bäckmans Ölbryggeri Ab. In the 1920s Bäckman's brewery ended to the ownership of Sulo Salmelin, a businessman from Tampere who owned the Pyynikki Brewery in his hometown. From 1940 Pori Brewery was a part of the Pyynikki Brewery. Since 1959 it worked again as an independent company known by the name Porin Oluttehdas. In 1972 the brewery was bought by Finnish brewing company Sinebrychoff which was owned by Carlsberg from 1997.

Pori Old Town Hall is a former town hall located in Pori, Finland. It was completed in 1841 by the design of German architect Carl Ludvig Engel.
Neoclassical style town hall is one of the few buildings in Pori that was saved from the great fire of 1852 as only the clock tower was destroyed. Tower was rebuilt in 1891. The pediment features a Latin description "Curia Arctopolis" meaning "the court of Pori". The Latin name "Arctopolis" is a translation of city's Swedish name "Björneborg".
Pori Old Town Hall served the city government until 1961. Today it is used by the city tourist office and other city officials. A restaurant is placed in the basement at the former city jail. In 2008 a statue of the founder of Pori, John III of Sweden, was revealed by the Old Town Hall.
