The Our Lady of Solitude Cathedral is the main Catholic church of the city of Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico, located in the center of the city in front of the Álvarez Square. It has been the episcopal seat of the Archdiocese of Acapulco since 1958.
It combines architectural styles that were amalgamated during and after construction; details of Neocolonial architecture and Moorish and Byzantine style are present, the latter in the dome and the towers. The interior of the church is decorated with gold tiles and mosaics.
The space occupied by the building has been used for public worship since the founding of the parish in 1555. In 1940, the architect Federico Mariscal was commissioned to design and reconstruct the parish, a process that was completed in the 1950s.

La Quebrada is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Acapulco, Mexico. Divers entertain tourists by jumping off either of two ledges on the cliff, one that is 40 feet high and the top one which is 80 feet high. The divers must calculate the right moment to jump to catch an incoming wave and avoid serious injury or death. Occasionally jumpers dive with a torch. Most of the divers come from the family of Quebrada divers. Although cliff diving at La Quebrada had taken place for many years, it was not until 1934 that the La Quebrada Cliff Divers was formed.
In one of the walls of the cliff there is a path and a restaurant where tourists gather to watch the human divers and to view pelicans diving for fish.

Unidad Deportiva Acapulco is a sports complex composed of a 15,000-seat football and track and field stadium and a baseball stadium which can seat thousands. The football/track stadium, which originally seated 8,600, is currently home to the Águilas UAGro fotball team of the Mexican Tercera División, which began play in 2009. The baseball stadium is currently used for amateur and semi-pro baseball, and skateboarding.
The complex had been in poor condition for several years but has received major renovations in recent years. The grass fields were replaced in 2009 with artificial turf. Additionally, the bathrooms, locker rooms and offices have been refurbished, and a new roof was installed on the football/track stadium's main grandstand. The cost of the renovations was $2.5 million pesos. The complex was completed in 1975.
The complex also includes an Olympic-sized swimming pool and basketball courts.
Other events that have been held at the complex have been track meets, concerts, lucha libre, and boxing. Should Acapulco receive a Mexican Baseball League expansion team, the baseball stadium could either be expanded or rebuilt to seat over 10,000. And should los Guerreros be promoted to the Liga de Ascenso the football/track stadium could be expanded to seat as many as 19,000, and should the team be promoted to the Primera Division de Mexico, additional construction could push the football/track stadium's capacity to as high as twice its current capacity.
The complex was severely damaged by Hurricane Otis when it struck Acapulco in October 2023.
