Krung Thon Buri station (Thai: สถานีกรุงธนบุรี, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː krūŋ tʰōn bū.rīː]}) is an interchange station of BTS Skytrain's Silom Line and Gold Line in Khlong San District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is on Krung Thon Buri Road. It was the first station of Bangkok's rapid transit system in Thonburi (The west bank of Chao Phraya River).

Sinn Sathorn Tower is a skyscraper in Thonburi side, Bangkok. The total height of 195 metres is 44 floors, located at 77/8 Krung Thon Buri Road, Khlong Ton Sai Subdistrict, Khlong San District near the foot of Taksin Bridge, with total area of 120,000 square meters. Construction started in 1989. Completed in 1993, there were 255 units, each with a living area of 170. The square meter is 352 square meters, the cost is 2,000 million baht by Sinn Estate Property Co., Ltd. together with many other companies. It was once the tallest building in Thailand, and the tallest on the Thonburi side, until taken over by The River in 2011.
Today, Sinn Sathorn Tower is the 34th tallest building in Thailand. It was opened as a rental building. The location of the commercial offices, in 1997 was used as a filming location for the James Bond series, Tomorrow Never Dies by assuming the head office of Elliot Carver in Saigon, Vietnam, where James Bond jumped from the top of the building, along with Wai Lin by the handcuffs. This is another highlight scene in the film.

Charoen Rat Road is a road in Bangkok's Thonburi side. It serves as a "soi" or alleyway connecting Somdet Phra Chao Tak Sin Road and Charoen Nakhon Road. It passes through and overlaps between Khlong San and Khlong Ton Sai sub-districts within the Khlong San district on the Thonburi side of the Bangkok, in close proximity to the Chao Phraya River, which is one of the most important waterways in the city. On the side of the road near Wongwian Yai is beginning with the Wongwian Yai Market, one of the largest fresh markets in the Thonburi side of Bangkok. In the following area, it is a well-known center for the type of business and the road continues on to end at the intersection of Charoen Nakhon Road, which is a commercial center known as Iconsiam and a pier for crossing the river to the Phra Nakhon side. Charoen Rat Road was originally a Maeklong railway line that began at the Wongwian Yai Station and ended at the Pak Khlong San Station. However, during the government of the Field Marsha Sarit Thanarat, the station and railway track was dismantled, and developed to make way for the road and bus stops that exists today.
Charoen Rat Road is considered a center for leather goods shops in Bangkok. The area is known for its wide selection of leather products, including shoes, bags, belts, and other accessories. Wongwian Yai station is the name of a cluster of railway and rapid transit stations in Bangkok, near the Wongwian Yai traffic circle. It includes the existing terminus of the State Railway of Thailand's Maeklong Railway and an elevated station on the BTS Skytrain's Silom Line, as well as an under-construction underground station of the MRT Purple Line, planned to open in 2028, and a planned station of the SRT Dark Red Line, which will replace the old railway station.
The Wongwian Yai station is a railway station located in Bang Yi Ruea subdistrict, Thon Buri district. It is a class 1 railway station and is the Bangkok terminus of the Maeklong Railway Mahachai Line. Currently, 34 rail services operate at the station. It is located closer to the titular Wongwian Yai roundabout than the Silom Line station. Wongwian Yai is the main station used for rail passenger traffic from Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram provinces.
The Silom Line station is on Krung Thon Buri Road to the west of Taksin intersection in Khlong San District, Bangkok. It was opened on 15 May 2009, together with Krung Thon Buri station on the 2.2 km being the first two rapid transit stations in Thonburi, the west bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Lat Ya Road is one of the major roads in Khlong San District, on the Thonburi side of Bangkok.
It was constructed in 1929 during the reign of King Rama VII as the fourth of eleven roads developed on the Thonburi side, in anticipation of the expansion of land transportation in the future. In 1932, marking the 150th anniversary of Rattanakosin, the Memorial Bridge was built across the Chao Phraya River to connect the Phra Nakhon and Thonburi sides.
The name "Lat Ya" is derived from the Battle of Thung Lat Ya, where Siamese forces led by Prince Maha Sura Singhanat achieved victory over the Burmese army. This battle was part of the Nine Armies' War during the reign of King Rama I in the early Rattanakosin period. The road was laid through land that had originally been orchards, such as longkong groves. At first, it was merely a gravel road surfaced with crushed stone, and the roadside utility poles were simple electric poles.
At present, the road has six traffic lanes with a central median, a total width of 28 m, and a length of 1,650 m It begins at Wongwian Yai, the site of the King Taksin the Great Monument, and runs northeast, passing the three-way Lat Ya Junction, where Itsaraphap Road and Tha Din Daeng Road begin, before continuing straight and terminating at Khlong San Junction, where it meets Charoen Nakhon Road and Somdet Chao Phraya Road, in front of Taksin Hospital and the Khlong San District Office.
Lat Ya Road, particularly the stretch from Platform mall to Lat Ya Junction, is especially lively at night, lined with numerous street food vendors, notably chim chum eateries, many of which have been in operation for over 20–30 years. During the 1980s and 1990s, the area was also home to several suki restaurants, along with various dining spots and steakhouses. It was once the site of Thonburi Café, a large and well-known nightclub and restaurant in Bangkok during the heyday of such venues. In addition, around December 28 each year, the entire road is typically closed and turned into a pedestrian street for celebrations marking King Taksin the Great Day, with the festivities lasting about two to three days depending on the year.

The Silom Line station opened on 15 May 2009, together with Wongwian Yai station on the 2.2 km (1.4 mi) Skytrain extension. The Gold Line station opened on 16 December 2020, together with Charoen Nakhon station and Khlong San station, the only two other stations of the line.
